Once and a while I like to read up on the News at the good old CNN website and I stumbled upon an article regarding all of the jokes and parody trailers that are popping up since Brokeback Mountain hit the big screen. These trailers take classics and make them into gay love stories (a-la Brokeback Mountain).
Take this trailer entitled Brokeback To The Futrue. I won’t bother telling you what movie it twists because it’s title says it all!
Ok now that you’re done laughing at that one, take a look at this trailer cleverly named Top Gun 2 – Brokeback Squadron.
Anyhow, I’m sure the timing of this couldn’t be anymore perfect for Gord since him and I have been debating the whole Muslim comic strip thing. But hey, when I already know I’ve won that argument, not even these parodies can give him a compelling argument!
And on a different video note, check out this CRAZY Commercial for the Izuzu Gemini that was apparently shot in the 80’s. I say “apparently” because although most of it seems plausible I just don’t see how two cars could jump a river and land on a boat and ricochet to the other side!?
