Congratulations goes out to my good buddy Paul Shortt for getting hired at IBM! Finally the guy that kicked so much ass in school (not literally – mind you he’s got the skills to pay those bills too) by working his ass off and helped so many of us along the way has been rewarded for all his hard-work! Atta boii Paul, well done! Although he was pretty quick to get a job in T.O. after school he found it unrewarding and grew to dislike his situation, BUT, he persevered, carried on, continued hunting and now it has all paid off! He’s working for one of the best and biggest companies (tech) in the world!
This is a lesson to all of us…no matter how crappy your current situation is we must stay determined! Granted, life IS short but it’s plenty long enough that after getting knocked down a few times picking yourself up and dusting yourself off is always well worth it!
