If I were to say to you that Iceland is hotter then Greenland, would you tell me I am wrong?
I ask this because although I am correct in stating that Iceland, on average, has a higher temperature then Greenland I am told that I cannot use the descriptor “hotter”. Apparently since Amy and Matt define hot as being something completely different then a relative term I can’t use it in the above statement.
By their standards I’m not even allowed to say “It’s hot in here!” or wow “It was hot in the gym today.”. Well boo on them!
Leave a comment, but personally the term hot (hotter) is a relative term and relatively speaking Iceland is definitely way HOTTER then Greenland!
BTW, whoever named those countries was clearly on crack!
Cheers!
