I couldn’t help but see the humour in this. I always knew that we as humans don’t fair to well when it comes to learning from our mistakes (take the Danish paper RE-publishing a cartoon that completely outraged an entire culture the first time it was printed – that one’s for you Gord, have at her). Anyhow, does anyone else see the possible catastrophy associated with building a boat that will hold 6400 people?! HAHA, sorry, but that’s outrageous.
One freak accident and there goes 6000 people. I dunno, maybe I’m being naive here, but do they actually think that they could have enough safety procedures in place that would prevent mass panic during an emergency? Anyhow, just thought it was worth a post. Comment if you want to stir some pots, I know Gord will!
Oh, and not too mention the field day that modern day pirates would have with this…
